SafeSend Returns
SafeSend Returns is a user-friendly and highly secure technology solution that allows you to manage your tax returns from the convenience of a computer, smartphone, or tablet.
SafeSend Returns overview & instructions:
You will receive an email from Shaw & Associates at noreply@safesendreturns.com. Add this email to your safe list to prevent it from being categorized as spam or junk.
If you do not see an email from Shaw & Associates at noreply@safesendreturns.com, please check your Spam or Junk Folder.

The email contains a link to access your tax return. Enter the last four digits of your SSN and then “request an access code”. You will receive the access code in a separate email and after entering the code, SafeSend will guide you through the review, signing, and payment process.
Once you have logged-in, you can:
Download, review and/or print your tax returns and payment vouchers (if applicable).
Verify your direct deposit information.
Digitally sign your e-file authorizations.
Please note: for individual tax returns, the IRS requires knowledge based identity authentication in order to electronically sign the e-file authorizations. You will be asked a series of questions generated from public records in order to verify your identity.
Access the IRS or FTB payment portals should you have a balance owed.
Download copies of your source documents in a single PDF.
Pay your invoice to Shaw & Associates.
For those filing “Married Filing Jointly,” the system will ask you to provide your spouse’s email address (even if it is a shared email account) once the person listed as the primary taxpayer has completed the signing process. Your spouse will then complete the same process to access, review, and sign the tax return.
